SHELTERSKELTER the 13th

Oct. 2-31, 2008  

We're celebrating the lucky anniversary of the series with 13 macabre one-acts spread over 2 nights. Part One runs Thursdays and Saturdays at 8:00 pmPart Two runs Fridays at 8:00 pm and Sundays at 6:00 pm. The final two shows on Oct. 30th and 31st will include BOTH PARTS.

Tickets for each show are $15 for the general public and $12 for students, seniors and TAG members. Come to see both shows - bring your program and your second admission is only $10. The Shelterbelt Theatre is located at 3225 California St.

This is an adults-only production, given the horror theme and subject matter.

Sh*t Happens,

Snuff,
a tale of fatal filmmaking, by William Campbell

Time To Go,
some deadly deja vu, by Joan Dunayer

Part Two, on Fridays and Sundays, includes:

A Masque,
a meeting with a costume party's doubtful guest, by Benjamin Graber

A Little Q and A,
a high stakes game of Cat and Mouse, by Craig Bond

Death and Motor Vehicles,
a struggle in the waiting line, by Isaac Rathbone

The Examiner,
an eye-opening character study, by Aaron Zavitz

Shadow Play,
an exploration of guilt and regret, by William Campbell

We Appear to Have Company,
a little absurdity at tea-time, by Greg Freier

 

The plays are directed by Adam Nathan, Andrew Yolland, Gary Planck, and Patty Wees. The cast includes Andy Niess, Anna Rebecca Kunkel, Bill Grennan, Carrie Beth Stickrod, Chris Elston, Demian Ryder, Doug Blackburn, Eric Grant-Leanna, Jay Huse, Jessica Gall, John Hatcher, Julie Kestner, Liz Mulhern, Maddie Radcliff, McClain Smouse, and Teri Fender.
Also, as part of the month-long party, were welcoming Perforated Productions to co-produce a late-night performance of   Lighthouse Eternal , an erotic, highly theatrical love story dealing with damnation and salvation. Lighthouse Eternal starts October 3rd and runs Fridays & Saturdays at 11:00 through October 25th. Tickets are $10 or $7 if you attend Shelterskelter.
